Education

Our hands-on program will empower you with in-depth knowledge of human development, teaching and learning theories, instructional strategies, and effective classroom practices—in addition to real-world classroom experience.

If you’re passionate about inspiring young minds and making a lasting impact, Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) can give you a strong foundation and the flexibility to pursue your passion—whether it leads to teaching, counseling, social work, or educational leadership.

At EMCC, you’ll develop expertise in child development, classroom management, communication, and instructional strategies, and gain the skills, confidence, and experience through classroom observation in real-world settings to thrive.

Plus, you’ll benefit from EMCC’s personalized support and affordable tuition that is 75% lower than a public in-state university.

Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.
